Almost a hundred people gathered at the Duckering Hall at Horsham Collyer`s College on Thursday to debate the question: âTrident: is replacement essential for the protection of UK security and place in the world or an outdated political strategy and a waste of billions of pounds of tax payers money?â
The vote at the end of a vigorous and varied exchange of views was:
1. Against replacement - 45
2. For replacement - 25
3. Unsure - 20
Hmm!
