Horsham town centre`s new wet fish outlet gets underway officially next Tuesday, but has already quietly opened for business.
Lia`s Fish Deli and More... aims to bring an aura of the delicatessen to the traditional fishmonger. Rolled sea bass, tuna skewers, prawn skewers, king scallops wrapped in bacon, monk fish with cherito sausage, jellied eels, anchovies in olive oil and other such delicacies take their place amid the staples of the shop.
Behind the venture is Giovanni Patane who brings the expertise of generations of Sicilian fishermen to the town. So if you fancy Baccalà alla Siciliana for supper, Lia`s should be your first port of call.
