Steyning Grammar School opens its doors at 10.00am on the 19th November to its 26th Winter Fair. Last year the event attracted over 1000 people and raised £8700 for the school.
This year the fair includes school stalls run by students, commercial stalls, food, drink, Santa`s grotto, an auction with over 40 lots to bid for and a raffle with generous cash prizes. Throughout the day students will perform a mixture of dance, drama and music in the Canteen and Drama Hall.
The Chair of Friends of Steyning Grammar School, Catherine Stone said: “We could not be more excited for this year’s Fair; there truly is something for everyone to enjoy and it is a great chance to showcase the school to the local community as well as further afield. This year marks the 26th year that the Fair has been running and we have set our sights high to beat last year’s record of £8,700 raised.”
