Mystery surrounds the cancellation of the Rockin the Park music festival. Scheduled for the weekend, 7 - 8 September, at Horsham Cricket Club, the organisers announced on Facebook early this morning that the event was cancelled due to circumstances “beyond our control‘. Nobody that Hello Horsham contacted was able to shed light on the circumstances but there are hopes that an event will go ahead with another promoter.
The cancellation follows the shock axing of the Festival of Sound on the 23 August which was due to be held at various venues in Horsham on the 14 – 15 September.
The line-up at Rockin the Park was to include The Feeling, Misha B, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Taygan Paxtan, Janey Bombshell, Half Hour Hotel and The Military Wives Choir.
