Horsham`s Future - Discuss

Horsham Council`s strategy for jobs and houses between now and 2031 is set out in a consultation paper to be published on Friday. A paper which identifies the potential economic, social and environmental impact of the strategy will be published at the same time.

Called the Horsham District Planning Framework Preferred Strategy and the Interim Sustainability Appraisal, the two documents will be available to view through the Council’s website (click here), at Horsham District Council’s offices at Park North in North Street, Horsham, local libraries throughout the District and at Parish Council offices in the District. In addition there will be displays at Southwater Parish Council, Beeson House, Southwater, Roffey Millennium Hall, north Horsham and Rusper Village Hall, High Street, Rusper.

The consultation period is eight weeks.

Councillor Claire Vickers, Horsham District Council’s Cabinet Member for Living and Working Communities, will answer questions in ‘˜Live Facebook Chats’ on Thursday 5 September and Thursday 8 October from 6pm to 7pm on the Council’s facebook page.
