After 23 years as part of the entertainment scene in Horsham, popular B52`s bar in Pirie`s Place is to close its doors on New Year`s Eve. The late night bar has made the announcement after speculation about its future in the wake of the go-ahead by Horsham District Council of the redevelopment of Pirie`s Place.
Developer Reef Estates plans a three screen Everyman Cinema, to be built within the existing ex-Waitrose structure, a new 92 bed hotel and eight retail units of between 3,000 and 4,000 sq ft.
Work is to begin shortly.
