Horsham Race for Life Open To All This Year

Cancer Research UK’s 5K run in Horsham park is breaking with its women-only tradition this year by throwing it open to all. This means anyone can now show support for the 51,400 people diagnosed with cancer every year in the South East.

The run takes place at 11.00am on Sunday 7th of June. Helen Curtis, Cancer Research UK’s Event Manager for West Sussex, said: “This year, we’re urging mums, dads, nans, grandpas, brothers, sisters, friends and workmates to show their support by joining the Race for Life. It’s a perfect example of everyday people doing an extraordinary thing – uniting in a common cause to beat cancer.”

Cancer Research UK receives no Government funding for its ground-breaking research. That’s why money raised through the Race for Life events is vital.
