Extension Burglaries

1 September 2013 11:59 AM

Two separate burglaries were committed in Horsham on the 29 August by thieves climbing on to flat-roof extensions and gaining entry via open windows.

The first was in Oakhill Road between 7.40am and 4.30pm and the second in Rushams Road between 1.30pm and 7.00pm. Property including jewellery was stolen.

A police spokesperson warned: "During the warm weather it is easy to leave a small window open and think it will be ok, but we urge people to always lock doors and windows when they are out, no matter how short a period it is for".

Anybody seeing anything suspicious is urged to call police on 101.
