Cyclist Seriously Hurt

Serious injuries were sustained by a 49-year-old cyclist at Hop Oast roundabout, Worthing Road, Horsham, when he was in collision with a car this afternoon.

The Brighton man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. The car driver, a 71-year-old man from Worthing, was shaken but uninjured in the collision.

The A24 was closed, with traffic re-routed through Southwater
