Saturday 26 January 2019

[EVENT CANCELLED]

The Vornis Trio is a Hammond Organ combo that draws on the soulful side of Jazz and Blues and features 3 outstanding session and gigging musicians, Ross Stanley (Hammond B3 Organ) Nat Martin (Guitar and Vocals) and Pat Levett (Drums). They have individually worked with the likes of Tom Jones, Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith, Maceo Parker, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, Zigaboo Modeliste (The Meters), Bernard Purdie, Jon Cleary, Elliot Randell (Steely Dan), The Coalminers, Jo Harman, Hamish Stuart (Average white Band) and Harvey Mason.

At Coolham they will be joined by Kat Eaton, one of the finest female vocalists on the circuit. Cardiff born, Sheffield raised and now living in London, Kat is rapidly making a name for herself in the capital.

Also on the bill, with roots in the wild wilderness of West Sussex, Charlie Austen's original music is a brand of finger-picking folk-soul, emphasising carefully crafted lyrics, intricate guitar parts and unusual melodies to suit an airy-yet-powerful, blues-infused vocal style.

Charlie will be joined by her brother Oli Austen, a multi talented musician who plays guitar for drum n' bass outfit Sigma and drums in his melodic rock project Quiet Lions.

7.45pm (doors open 7.00pm) at Coolham Live Music Club, Coolham Village Hall, Billingshurst Road, Coolham RH13 8QN.

Tickets £15: email Rich at coolhamtickets@gmail. Bring your own refreshments.
