New Sussex Opera Chorus presents Donizetti`s The Elixir of Love. Fully staged, sung in English with professional soloists and orchestra.
Life’s a beach… a beach on the Sussex coast in NSO’s re-imagining of Donizetti’s operatic masterpiece. Director David Foster seizes every comic opportunity in a plot about tangled webs of love in this comedy with a heart.
The music is tuneful and accessible - performed by NSO’s young professionals conducted by Ben Knowles. The talented NSO Chorus relish every phrase and every comic twist in this unforgettable production.
